Prayer Ministry

Prayer is the heartbeat of Buckeye Seventh-day Adventist Church, and our Prayer Ministry is dedicated to lifting up our church family, our community, and the world before the throne of God. We believe in the power of prayer to bring healing, guidance, peace, and transformation in both personal lives and the body of Christ.

This ministry provides multiple opportunities for members to grow in their prayer life—from weekly prayer meetings to church-wide prayer chains and special seasons of fasting and intercession. Whether in times of joy, trial, or seeking, our Prayer Ministry stands ready to pray with and for anyone in need.

We invite you to join us in creating a culture of prayer, where every decision and ministry is covered in earnest, faith-filled intercession. No prayer is too small, and no burden is too heavy for our Heavenly Father.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16
Let us seek God together—because prayer changes everything.

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

James 5:16 NIV

"Prayer is the most powerful force on earth. Prayer moves the arm of God on behalf of His people."

We would like to pray together as a church family via the telephone, since we are unable to encourage one another at our church. We believe it is important to stay connected during this season of trouble. We must pray together that we will make it through with God's guidance and protection.

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near

Hebrews 10:25, NLT

A revival of true godliness among us is the greatest and most urgent of all our needs. To seek this should be our first work. There must be earnest effort to obtain the blessing of the Lord, not because God is not willing to bestow His blessing upon us, but because we are unprepared to receive it. . . . [It] is our work, by confession, humiliation, repentance, and earnest prayer to fulfill the conditions upon which God has promised to grant us His blessing. A revival need be expected only in answer to prayer.
